In recent weeks, we have heard that EA is working on multiple Marvel projects – one focused on Black Panther, and another focused on Iron Man. In an announcement this week, EA confirmed that it is indeed working with Marvel, and the first game will be Iron Man.
Back in August, Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb said that EA is working on a second single-player Marvel game. According to industry reporter, Tom Henderson, a few people have claimed that this is going to be an Iron Man game. Now with this week's announcement, those rumours have been verified.
The news is out! ?We couldn’t be more thrilled to collaborate with @MarvelGames on an all-new single-player, action-adventure Iron Man game. While we're still in early development, this is an exciting new adventure for our studio: https://t.co/zpuT61TKtV pic.twitter.com/309lhm02dY

After the failure of Anthem, many fans pointed out that the combat, movement and general in-suit gameplay would work well for an Iron Man game. EA Motive is tasked with taking on the project, promising to deliver an “all-new single-player action-adventure” game.
Aside from this now confirmed Iron Man title, it is rumoured that EA is working on a Black Panther game codenamed ‘Project Rainier'. That project is being spearheaded by Kevin Stephens, former VP of Monolith Productions, who joined EA last year to start up a new studio.
The Black Panther game has not been officially announced at this time, and for now, all we know about Iron Man is that it is in pre-production. With that in mind, expect it to be a few years before we see these games in action.
