Sony has really ramped up its PC releases this year, bringing the likes of God of War, Spider-Man: Remastered and soon, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection over to the platform. Now, another surprise title has been announced – Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
Sackboy was one of the earliest games rumoured to be coming to PC, but development takes time. In what appears to be an accidental early reveal, the PlayStation Latin America YouTube channel uploaded a trailer announcing the PC version. As you might expect, this was quickly spotted by the likes of Nibel and shared across the web.
Update: The trailer has now been set to private. All the information below still seems to be correct.
The video gives us an October 27th release date, so there is a very quick turnaround from announcement to release – although it is worth noting that Sackboy was part of the GeForce Now database leak a couple of years ago, so while the announcement is new, we've been anticipating this for a long time. That same leak also revealed that Returnal would come to PC, and there is evidence that is close to an announcement and launch too.
Like other PlayStation games on PC, Sony is putting in the effort to ensure PC features are supported, including unlocked frame rates, support for ultra-wide displays, as well as performance-saving features like Nvidia DLSS and more.

KitGuru Says: Sackboy does look like a fun platformer, but I do hope we get a new Little Big Planet some day with PC support, as that will open up the door for even more elaborate creations and easy mod sharing.
