Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is set to drop onto the PC platform in just a few short days. Though enhanced to support the high-end hardware of many gaming PC rigs, its roots as a PS4 title means that the collection is nicely scalable to all manner of hardware – including by being Steam Deck verified ready for launch.
As found on SteamDB, an update to Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on PC has added Steam Deck Compatibility ahead of the game’s official PC launch on the 19th of October. What this means is that Valve have verified that the game looks and runs well on the Steam Deck with no tweaking needed – in theory.
Going into specificities, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection being Steam Deck verified means that:
- All functionality Is accessible when using the default controller configuration
- This game show Steam Deck controller icons
- In-game interface text is legible on Steam Deck
- This game’s default graphics configuration performs well on Steam Deck
While this is all well and good, it is worth noting that not all Steam Deck verified titles are equal, with some offering many more accessibility features than others. Fortunately, Naughty Dog have historically been great when it comes to such things, and so hopefully the game does indeed look and run beautifully right out of the box. We will have to wait and see.
