EA shows new Zero-G sections and graphics comparisons for Dead Space Remake

Two weeks after the Dead Space Remake gameplay trailer release, EA Motive is back for more. This time around, the developers celebrated the original game's anniversary by releasing a new gameplay walkthrough, giving us a more in-depth look at the remake in action.

Dead Space Remake is a complete rebuild of the original game. While EA is not making significant changes to the story or gameplay, it is polishing the game up in areas where it is needed. For instance, the game's zero gravity sections have been reworked, as you can see in the gameplay video below:

While the original Dead Space was built on another engine, the remake is being made in Frostbite. While the Frostbite engine has had its issues being reworked for different types of games, it seems to be doing fine here for Dead Space Remake and as you can see in the footage, the graphics are a giant leap forward compared to the original release.

Dead Space was originally released way back in 2008 and has gone on to be recognised as one of the best horror games of all time. The remake is still a few months away and is now scheduled to release on the 27th of January, with that in mind, there is still a bit more polish and optimisation work to be done, but so far, the game is looking like it will be in good shape once launch rolls around.
