Sony sent out a lot of review codes for God of War: Ragnarok ahead of its launch in November. Unfortunately, some who got early access leaked huge spoilers for the campaign. Now, those spoilers are likely to get worse, as at least one retailer has broken the street date, selling the game weeks early.
After a string of fresh leaks, Sony Santa Monica's Cory Barlog took to Twitter to confirm that a retailer began selling copies of Ragnarok two weeks before the release date. This has led to even more leaks, which Sony is struggling to keep a lid on and as a result, there is a higher chance of fans having the experience spoiled for them.
Major story spoilers have been going around for a while now, so anyone that was hoping to go into the game with fresh eyes is likely already avoiding social media posts about the game. However, when something like this happens, we do see some people posting spoilers maliciously in a direct attempt to ruin the game for others.
So far, all preview coverage for God of War: Ragnarok has been positive and it is looking like Sony has another potential GOTY contender on its hands. God of War: Ragnarok officially releases for PS4 and PS5 on the 9th of November.

KitGuru Says: I've unfortunately seen a few spoilers for Ragnarok already, but nothing that would hinder my enjoyment of the overall game. Sony is going to have to keep an eye out for early let's play videos, cutscene uploads and streams over the next couple of weeks, as copies of the game are making their way into the hands of consumers much earlier than expected.
