Over the course of each year, Nintendo goes live with multiple different showcases and directs, each focusing on a different aspect to gaming on Nintendo. The console manufacturer has now announced its latest upcoming Indie World showcase – set to go live this Wednesday the 9th of November.
Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Nintendo Indie World page said, “Tune in on Nov. 9 at 9:00 a.m. PT [5PM UK Time] for a new #IndieWorld Showcase featuring roughly 25 minutes of information on upcoming indie games headed to Nintendo Switch!”
As with most Indie World Showcase announcements, little was offered regarding what fans can expect to see at the showcase. That being said, 25 minutes is a decent amount of time for an Indie World showcase and considering the fact that we have seen some rather significant titles announced at such indie showcases, the potential for what might be announced is vast.
The previous Indie World showcase took place in May of this year and brought with it announcements including: Gunbrella, Ooblets, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator and Cult of the Lamb – to name a few.
Older Indie World presentations have also included relative heavy hitters such as ‘Hollow Knight Silksong’ and ‘Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the Necrodancer’ meaning anything is possible. The Nintendo Indie World showcase will go live on the 9th of November at 5PM GMT and can be watched HERE.
