A few weeks ago when AMD officially unveiled the Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards, it also announced a 13th of December launch date. At the time, it wasn't specified if custom cards from board partners would be available at the same time and subsequently, there have now been reports of delays.
According to Mydrivers (via Wccftech), some board partner cards might not launch until a week or two after AMD's reference models. However, a separate report from ComputerBase confirms that board partners are aiming for a 13th of December launch too. With that in mind, expect to see custom cards available from launch.
This report aligns with AMD's public announcement of the Radeon RX 7900 series, stating that its upcoming GPUs will be available directly from AMD on the 13th of December, and from partners in mid-December.
So far, we've seen both PowerColor and Sapphire teasing their custom RX 7900 series graphics cards, but we also expect to see options from Asus, MSI, Gigabyte and others.
