Despite launching almost a decade ago now, many publishers still release PlayStation 4 / Xbox One versions of their games. Following the announcement that Star Wars Ledi: Survivor is coming to last-gen consoles, the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP has now also been confirmed to be getting a delayed last-gen release.
Announced in 2022, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is an upcoming remaster of the cult-hit action title from all the way back in 2012.
Set to arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and even the Nintendo Switch on the 12th of September, the team at Dragami Games have now revealed that the remaster is also set to come to last-gen systems – albeit a bit after the release of the current-gen version.
Though no exact release date was given, we now know that following its current-gen launch in September, the game will also come to the PS4 and Xbox One some time this November.
Unlike the last-gen version of Jedi: Survivor, this announcement is perhaps less surprising, especially as the game is coming to the lesser-powered Nintendo Switch anyways.
Regardless, it is interesting to see more and more developers release last-gen versions of their games AFTER the launch of the current-gen edition.
