Retailers list the upcoming Intel Core i9-13900KS starting at €799

Although we're still a week away from the release of the Intel Core i9-13900KS, some retailers are already listing the upcoming flagship CPU in their online stores. One of these retailers has even listed it as being available for shipping.

VideoCardz has found out that both French retailer LDLC and Dutch retailer Megekko (archive) have already listed the Intel Core i9-13900KS processor ahead of release. At the french retailer, the CPU was available for €949.96, quite expensive compared to the Core i9-13900K at other European retailers, but within the prices sold at the same store (the Core i9-12900KS costs €919.96).

On the other hand, the Dutch retailer had the CPU with a more appealing price tag of €799. Unfortunately, both listings have since been removed. It's unclear if someone was able to order these chips while they were available and if retailers will deliver them ahead of their release.

Officially, the Intel Core i9-13900KS will only be available on January 12th. However, considering there are already several motherboards with a one-click “6GHz” mode for the i9-13900K, you can mimic the performance of the upcoming CPU by grabbing the current flagship and pairing it with a board with this feature.

KitGuru says: With the Core i9-13900KS going for about 20% more than the i9-13900K, do you think the extra money is worth the small clock increase?
