While critics delivered mixed reviews for High On Life, this game has still managed to find a rather sizeable audience. Following on from its launch earlier this month, High On Life has now surpassed Minecraft, becoming the most popular title on Xbox Game Pass.
High On Life is proving to be an excellent addition to the Game Pass library. As of now, the game is the most popular title on Game Pass for console, the second most popular on Game Pass for PC and it is currently the third most played game on the Xbox platform. Over on Steam, the game is also doing very well, having reached the #2 position on the Steam Sales chart.
While High On Life received mixed reviews from critics, fan support has been huge. The game had backing from Rick and Morty co-creator, Justin Roiland, who also lends his voice-acting talent to the game. Roiland's sense of humour shines through in the game's writing. However, the game is also quite short and can be finished in less than 8 hours. For some, that will be a selling point, for others, it might be a little disappointing.
Currently on Steam, High On Life has a ‘Very Positive' overall score based on over 2,500 individual user reviews.
KitGuru Says: I've only played a couple of hours of High On Life so far. I saw some pretty harsh criticism of the game in early reviews but so far, I've had nothing short of a good time playing it. Have many of you picked this up yet? What do you think of the game?
