be quiet! introduces the new Dark Power 13 ATX 3.0 PSU series

be quiet! has unveiled the Dark Power 13 series, the company's first ATX 3.0-compliant power supplies. Following in the footsteps of Dark Power 12, the new PSU series comes in three variants: 750W, 850W, and 1000W. All models are equipped with upgraded Silent Wings 135mm fans and are certified as 80 Plus Titanium.

With these new ATX 3.0 power supplies, the Dark Power 13 series also adheres to the power standards set by PCIe 5.0. In contrast to ATX 2.x, ATX 3.0 establishes precise target values, including that the PCIe connection for the graphics card must allow load variations of up to three times the power consumption. Moreover, be quiet!'s new PSUs can deliver up to 600W of power through the accompanying 12VHPWR socket while still including four PCIe 6+2 connectors for extended graphics card compatibility.

Like the Dark Power 12 PSUs, the new series also uses the “Active Rectifier + Full Bridge LLC + SR + DC-DC” topology and a wire-free interior design on the DC side to meet the 80 Plus Titanium certification (up to 95.8% efficiency). Inside these units, you'll find Japanese 105°C capacitors for increased reliability and high-quality signal for the four 12V rails. To cool the unit, the Dark Power 13 series uses patented frameless Silent Wings 135 mm fans encircled by a funnel-shaped air intake beneath a complete mesh grill.

Other features inherited by the Dark Power 13 PSUs include the Overclocking key that enables the user to switch between multi-rail and single-rail modes with the press of a button. In addition, the new power supplies make use of a steel enclosure and a modular design featuring a set of modular, black-sleeved cables to power components. A 10-year manufacturer's warranty is also on hand for peace of mind.

These Dark Power 13 series will be available in stores on January 24th for $289.90/€294.90/£289.99 for the 1000W model, $249.90/€259.90/£249.99 for the 850W, and $209.90/€214.90/£209.99 for the 750W.
