While Nvidia has not announced the RTX 4070 Ti yet, there has been growing evidence that this graphics card will be launching soon. The latest piece of evidence comes from Nvidia itself, as the recommended system requirements for the Omniverse View app have been updated.
Nvidia Omniverse is a suite of tools that take advantage of Nvidia's hardware to accelerate workloads for 3D and simulation projects. Recently, the Omniverse View app had its system requirements updated (via Videocardz), with the RTX 4070 Ti now being the ‘recommended' GPU, while the minimum requirements simply call for “any RTX GPU with 8GB”.
This is the first time we've seen Nvidia refer to the RTX 4070 Ti in an official capacity. With that in mind, it would seem that rumours of an early 2023 launch at CES could be correct.
The RTX 4070 Ti should utilise the same GPU from the cancelled RTX 4080 12GB. Originally, the RTX 4080 12GB was set to launch at $899, so we'll have to wait and see if that plan has changed.
