Thermaltake is kicking CES 2023 off with its new CTE Form Factor Series. CTE stands for Centralised Thermal Efficiency and is focused on providing high-level thermal performance for critical components.
The CTE series spans six cases at present, including the CTE C750 Air, CTE C750 TG ARGB, CTE C700 Air, CTE C700 TG ARGB, CTE T500 Air and the CTE T500 TG ARGB. The CTE Form Factor Series sets itself apart by rotating the motherboard 90 degrees, allowing for more efficient airflow pathways. By refocusing on efficient cooling performance, Thermaltake's new cases are prepared for new generations of hardware, as the power draw of CPUs and GPUs in recent generations has been on the rise.
By moving the critical heat sources closer to intakes, there are also benefits to thermal extraction, as the CPU is moved further towards the front panel, and the GPU closer to the rear. These new cases also ship with Thermaltake's new CT series fans, available in black or white, and with or without RGB lighting. These fans operate at up to 1500RPM and have specially tuned fan blades to increase the amount of air that can be pushed through.
These new cases also offer rotational PCI-E slots, giving you the option to mount your GPU horizontally or vertically with ease. This is another key feature for the line-up. Unfortunately pricing hasn't been announced yet, but we should get more details on that closer to the April 2023 launch.
