After multiple delays, we're finally getting a new The Settlers game. The title, first announced in 2018 , had its original release date set to 2019, but had to be postponed for still undisclosed reasons. Fast-forward four years, the game is finally coming out next month, and Ubisoft has now shared the system requirements.
The upcoming The Settlers entry will be based on Snowdrop Engine, Ubisoft's in-house engine that has been used for games such as Tom Clancy's The Division and The Division 2 and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Sparks of Hope, as well as for upcoming games like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Based on what we've seen from this engine, we know it's very competent, though it will be interesting to see how scalable it is as we already know the title is also coming to the Nintendo Switch.
For a modern game, the requirements are very reasonable. However, Ubisoft didn't share the performance target for each set of requirements, so the game might not be as light as it initially suggests. In any case, these are the system requirements to run The Settlers: New Allies:

- Processor: Intel Core i3-6100, AMD Ryzen 3 1200
- Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 with 2GB VRAM / AMD Radeon 550 with 2GB VRAM

- Storage: 150GB space required
- Requires a Ubisoft account
Recommended:

The Settlers: New Allies will release on February 17th for PC, Amazon Luna, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
