Sony answers 50 of the biggest questions around PSVR2

The PlayStation VR2 headset is set to release in just a few short weeks. Ahead of the headsets 22nd of February launch, Sony has now released what it is calling “The Ultimate FAQ” – answering any and all questions that a prospective purchaser might ponder.

Taking to the PlayStation Blog, Sid Shuman – the Senior Director for SIE Content Communications – said “Welcome! We’ve had plenty to share already about PlayStation VR2 since its initial announcement. We’ve had the first look at the innovative PS VR2 Sense controller, early details on the system specs and the design inspirations behind the headset and recently the launch window lineup. Today. We’d like to share an exhaustive list of in-depth details on the hardware, its games and more.”

The full list of questions is rather lengthy including 50 questions and answers in total, and so while the full FAQ can be found HERE, some of the more interesting details include the fact that the included USB-C cable for the headset will be 4.5 metres long – plenty of length for players to move about with relative freedom.

Another small yet interesting detail is the fact that like the PlayStation 5 console and DualSense controllers, the PSVR2 headset will use hundreds of tiny embossed PlayStation symbols in order to add texture to the device – continuing PlayStation’s design and engineering aesthetics.

As mentioned, this FAQ includes 50 questions and answers, ranging from discussions surrounding PSVR2 viewing modes; the brand new Sense controllers; Broadcasting and capturing PSVR2 gameplay and so much more.
