Last-minute game details seemingly leak ahead of Xbox showcase

We are less than 24 hours away from the Xbox and Bethesda developer direct where the console manufacturer is expected to show off a meaty selection of games both known and unknown. Ahead of the event, some last minute leaks have sprung, detailing at least one of the games seemingly set to be announced at the showcase.

Billbil-kun is a well-known industry insider, having leaked plenty of announcements in the past, including but not limited to Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus titles. According to the insider, “A new game from Bethesda x Tango Gameworks will be announced (and/or released) soon (probably in Xbox & Bethesda Developer_Direct event).”

The game will reportedly be called Hi-Fi RUSH, though was internally known as Project Hibiki. Of course, neither Bethesda nor Tango Gameworks have spoken of this title, though previous leaks from late last year suggested that this game will be a sci-fi shooter of some kind, with concept art also published at the time.

A few bonus details shared by Billbil-kun includes the fact that the game will unsurprisingly offer a standard and deluxe edition – though their differences have not been stated. Finally, the game will seemingly be rated T for Teen (or PEGI 12), which is interesting to see from the studio behind The Evil Within.

That said, Ghostwire Tokyo also received a 12 rating, and so it will be interesting to see what the core concept of the game ends up being. Hopefully we won’t have to wait long to find out.
