Steam Next Fest goes live with hundreds of demos

Steam’s Next Fest event sees hundreds of demos for upcoming games released for a short period of time, allowing users to get a taste of just some of the games set to arrive on Steam in the not-too-distant future. The latest iteration of Steam’s Next Fest has now gone live, letting you play hundreds of demos over the course of the next week.

Making the announcement on their blog, Valve unveiled the latest Steam Next Fest, saying “Today through February 13 at 10am PST (UTC-8), we're showcasing hundreds of demos from upcoming games across all genres from teams all over the world. You'll have the opportunity to try these unreleased games for free throughout Steam Next Fest—no expo halls, no queues.”

Of course, the full list of demos available would be far too long to list here, however some of the more interesting titles currently available include ‘Boundary’ – “a multiplayer tactical space-based shooter game” as well as Cynthia: Hidden in the Moonshadow, an “emotional, 3rd-person, story-driven, adventure game focused on solving puzzles and using stealth mechanics.”

Of course, we would be remiss to not mention Darkest Dungeon II – the sequel to the hardcore yet highly-loved “gothic roguelike turn-based RPG about the psychological stresses of adventuring.”

Steam’s Next Fest is live right now and will remain so until the 13th of February. The full list of demos can be found and explored HERE.
