NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada GPU 3DMark Time Spy results revealed

If you're curious about how the RTX 6000 Ada GPU would fare in gaming workloads, the recently leaked 3DMark Time Spy score hints at how it would perform. Despite its raw specs, performance is inferior to that of an RTX 4090, but that's only expected considering it only has a 300W TDP.

This Reddit thread (via @harukaze5719) includes a photo of the alleged GPU and a screenshot of it scoring 30,518 points (graphics score) on 3DMark Time Spy. The uploader states that the GPU scored higher before updating Windows but didn't share the result. In any case, it's not enough to beat the RTX 4090, which scores around 36K points. However, there's a reasonable explanation for it.

The RTX 6000 Ada GPU comes with 18,176 CUDA cores and 48GB of GDDR6 memory at 20Gbps across a 384-bit memory bus. Compared to the RTX 4090, that should have been enough to outperform the current flagship gaming graphics card. However, clock speeds shouldn't go as high due to the lower 300W TDP of the A6000. On the other hand, the RTX 4090 has a 450W TDP and features faster GDDR6X memory, which is apparently enough to compensate for the 1,792 CUDA cores difference.

As per the Redditor, the card runs at 85°C with fans at around 70%, which is not that bad considering the TDP and the blower-type cooler.

KitGuru says: These GPUs are typically aimed at professional workloads rather than gaming, but even those with workstations like to jump into a game from time to time. With that in mind, results like this can be handy for a certain niche.
