The PlayStation VR2 is less than one week away from launch, and as such we have seen Sony beginning to seriously ramp up its marketing of the device. Of course, a VR headset is only as good as the games it supports, and so it is exciting to see even more PSVR2 launch window titles announced.
Back in January Sony unveiled what we believed at the time to be the full list of upcoming PSVR2 titles set to arrive either on the 22nd of February itself, or very shortly after – with the launch window line-up featuring more than 30 games.
As we near the launch of the new headset, the console manufacturer revealed a few additional games set to join the platform during its release period. As discovered by Gematsu, the German PlayStation blog released a post detailing 5 additional titles coming to the next-generation headset at or around launch – those being:
- GORN
- Green Hell VR
- Project Wingman
- Solaris: Offworld Combat 2
- Wanderer Remastered
As mentioned, the PSVR2 will live or die by its games, and so it is exciting to see more and more being added and announced ahead of launch. The first-gen PSVR was a moderate success but Sony seemed to rather quickly abandon it. With the PSVR2 offering much improved hardware on pretty much every front, it is exciting to see that the hardware will be matched by equally exciting software.
