Sony has slowly but surely been increasing the perceived value of its revamped PlayStation Plus service, with February’s PS Plus Extra titles featuring some pretty major inclusions such as Horizon Forbidden West. Those subscribed to the highest tier are fortunately not being left behind, as February’s PS+ Premium line-up has now been unveiled.
Sony revamped its PlayStation Plus service less than a year ago, and while the quality of titles offered have ebbed and flowed, February looks to be one of the strongest months yet. PS Plus Extra has for a while been rather exciting, with a good selection of high quality PS4 and PS5 titles added on a consistent basis.
PS+ Premium users however had been seemingly mostly forgotten. Fortunately, this now seems to be changing, with February’s Premium line-up (coming on the 21st of February) including some pretty huge classics:
- The Legend of Dragoon | PS1
- Wild Arms 2 | PS1
- Harvest Moon: Back to Nature | PS1
- Destroy All Humans! | PS4
While The Legend of Dragoon is undoubtedly the headlining addition for this month, it is interesting to see the PS4 remake of Destroy All Humans! added to the Premium tier. While yes, the game was originally on PS2, the version being added is the PS4 remake. Still, though perhaps lacking in quantity, it is exciting to see Sony finally adding quality titles to the Premium tier of their service.
