Disney Speedstorm will be available in early access starting next month

Disney's new combat racing game developed by Gameloft is coming to select platforms in early access on April 18th. Pre-orders are now available via three Founder's packs, each offering different tiers of in-game content, currency and cosmetics.

Developed by the team behind the Asphalt series, Disney Speedstorm is a hero-based combat racing game that lets you play with your favourite Disney characters on tracks inspired by the worlds created by Pixar and Disney. The upcoming title will be playable in solo, local, online co-op, and cross-platform multiplayer, letting you team up with your friends regardless of the system you're playing on.

All pre-orders (only possible in PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store) include the Toontech Early Bird kart livery and Early Bird racing suit for Donald Duck.

If you're interested in trying the game, know that the system requirements have already been published. For the minimum spec, the developer recommends a Core i5-4460/Ryzen 3 1300X, GTX 960/1650 or a Radeon R7 370, and 6GB of memory. Recommended requirements are considerably higher, asking for a Core i7-9700K/Ryzen 5 5600X, an RTX 3070/Radeon 6700X, and 16GB of memory. Both presets recommend 20GB of free space.

Disney Speedstorm will arrive on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store) in early access on April 18th. The game is expected to be released as a free-to-play title later.
