Following on from launch reviews yesterday, AMD's new Ryzen 9 X3D processors are now available. Both the Ryzen 9 7900X3D and the Ryzen 9 7950X3D are now in stock at etailers, with prices starting at £619.99.
At just under £620 for the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, it does seem that UK pricing is higher than the USD MSRP of $599. It is a similar story for the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, which is launching at £749.99. There will be a cheaper Ryzen 7 7800X3D launching in April, which has a suggested price of $449.
As a reminder, here are the specs for the Ryzen 7000 X3D processors:
Model | Cores/Threads | Boost/Base Frequency | Cache | TDP | SEP (USD) |
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D | 16C/32T | Up to 5.7 GHz / 4.2 GHz | 144MB | 120W | $699 |
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D | 12C/24T | Up to 5.6 GHz / 4.4 GHz | 140MB | 120W | $599 |
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | 8C/16T | Up to 5.0 GHz / 4.2 GHz | 104MB | 120W | $449 |
While prices are high, we were very impressed by the Ryzen 9 7950X3D in our review, praising it for its high performance and low power draw. You can read our full review, HERE.
