BAFTA has announced the candidates for the 2023 BAFTA Gaming Awards, which will honour the greatest games of 2022. Nominations were collected for 45 different games designed by various developers, from the biggest studios to small independent teams.
As per the yearly tradition, the BAFTA Games Awards will celebrate the art and craft of games and the people who created them, awarding the finest work of 2022. Out of 18 categories and 45 different titles nominated, the highlights of this year's awards are the 14 nominations for God of War Ragnarök, making it BAFTA's most-nominated game ever. Other feats worth mentioning are the eight nominations for Stray and seven for Elden Ring.
