Hogwarts Legacy for Xbox One and PS4 has been delayed again

Hogwarts Legacy is already a success on PC and the latest-gen consoles. However, there's still a huge market of players still waiting to get their hands on the game on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The Xbox One and PS4 versions were supposed to arrive in April, but the team needs a bit more time to get the game ready.

Originally scheduled to release in April, the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Hogwarts Legacy have been delayed a month, pushing the release date to May 5th. The development team is currently “working hard to deliver the best possible experience on all platforms”, and as such, they need more development time to complete their mission.

Despite the delay for Xbox One and PS4 owners, Hogwarts Legacy should still release for Nintendo Switch on July 25th. As of now, we haven't heard about any possible delays on this version of the game.

Hogwarts Legacy was released on February 10th for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, garnering an 84 Opencritic score (89% recommendation). Based on the latest sales figure, Hogwarts Legacy has sold over 12 million copies in its first two weeks, generating around $850 million in revenue.
