We've seen many mouse mats over the years, some with softer cloth surfaces, other with harder, textured surfaces, but we've not seen many tempered glass mouse mats. Razer is looking to change that now with the Razer Atlas.
The Razer Atlas is the company's first foray into glass-based design. The mouse mat is supposed to offer consistent performance for gamers who need consistent swipes and quick flicks to secure wins in competitive games. The Atlas should offer a zero-resistance mouse surface.
The Atlas is crafted with ‘premium' tempered glass with a scratch-resistant coating to repel dirt and dust, ensuring it stays clean. Thanks to its low-maintenance nature, the mat can be easily cleaned with a warm damp cloth to ensure it stays in a pristine state at all times. The Razer Atlas is also available in two colour options, Black and White, so you can choose whichever best suits your setup.
Unfortunately, it is on the pricey side for mouse mats, coming in at £99.99, a similar price to the wireless-charging mouse mats that arrived a few years ago.
