Battlefield Bad Company 1 & 2, and Battlefield 1943 will soon be delisted from stores

This week, EA announced plans to delist a few games. While plans to delist Mirror's Edge have seemingly been reversed, three Battlefield titles will still be removed from sale later this year, including the much-loved Bad Company titles.

Battlefield Bad Company 1 & 2 are best known for their stellar campaigns. Fans have been hoping for Bad Company 3 for many years at this point but DICE has yet to revisit the idea. With that said, EA did set up a new studio in 2022, specifically to work on future single-player Battlefield content, so there is some future potential there.

Starting from the 28th of April, Battlefield 1943 and both Battlefield Bad Company 1 & 2 will be removed from digital storefronts and online services will go offline on the 8th of December 2023. This means you'll no longer be able to play multiplayer on official servers.

While multiplayer will no longer function as it once did, if you buy the games before they are removed from sale, you will still be able to play the single-player campaigns.
