Philips reveals the Evnia 25M2N5200P with 280Hz refresh rate

The Philips Evnia series of premium gaming monitors now has a great option for those looking for a smaller 1080p screen. The new Evnia 25M2N5200P offers a 25-inch IPS display, FullHD resolution and a 280Hz refresh rate for ultra-smooth gaming.

The Philips Evnia 25M2N5200P is the latest monitor from the Evnia 5000 series, with a 25-inch IPS display featuring an FHD resolution, 0.5 ms MPRT and a 280Hz refresh rate (overclock). The display covers 110% of the sRGB colour space and 93.4% of the NTSC colour gamut, with a typical brightness of 400 nits, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and HDR10 certification.

The monitor supports Adaptive-Sync technology with AMD FreeSync Premium, which helps to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering during gameplay. It also features DarkBoost, Smart Crosshair, SmartImage Game and HDR, SmartContrast, Motion Blur Reduction Sync, and Low Input Lag, among other features. Moreover, there's also a LowBlue mode to reduce blue light emission. Lastly, it comes factory-calibrated with a DeltaE < 2 (sRGB).

The monitor has a dark grey body with a Compact Ergo Stand that offers up to 130mm of height adjustment, +/-30º of swivel, and -5 to 20º of tilt. This allows users to adjust the monitor to their preferred viewing angle for maximum comfort. The Philips 25M2N5200P has several connectivity options, including two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports.

KitGuru says: Spec-wise, there are plenty of alternatives to the Evnia 25M2N5200P. However, in terms of design, most come with the typical gaming aesthetics that some prefer to avoid. That's where the new Evnia 25M2N5200P stands out.
