Resident Evil 4 Remake is out and as we've already covered, Nvidia GPU users can already download a new Game Ready driver with day-one optimisations for the game in place. If you are using an AMD graphics card and you plan on picking up the game, you'll want to download the latest version of Radeon Software.
The new AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.3.2 driver began rolling out earlier this week. In the list of highlights, we see that optimisations have now been added for Resident Evil 4 Remake, which is available today, in addition to The Last of Us Part 1, which comes to PC next week.
This new driver also fixes a number of lingering issues, including crashes for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Genshin Impact, a corruption issue with It Takes Two, and some UI issues with AMD's performance metrics overlay.
Some known issues remain, including instances of high idle power for RX 7000 GPUs in certain situations. An issue that can cause video playback to stutter while also playing a game on a multi-monitor setup has not yet been fixed either.
