Nvidia rolls out new Game Ready driver for Redfall and Diablo 4’s ‘Server Slam’ weekend

Arkane's next big game, Redfall, officially becomes available to all today. Over on the PC side, Nvidia graphics card users will benefit from a number of features, including DLSS support and Nvidia Reflex.

Redfall will support DLSS 3 and Nvidia Reflex at launch. DLSS 3 uses AI to insert additional frames, allowing for up to 71 percent higher frame rates in this particular game. According to Nvidia's own tests, the RTX 4090 can play the game at over 180FPS at 4K resolution with DLSS 3 enabled. The newly launched RTX 4070 should be capable of roughly 100FPS with DLSS 3 switched on at 4K resolution. Those with older RTX GPUs can use DLSS 2 instead, which will also provide a decent performance bump.

DLSS 3 does add some additional latency, but this can be minimised with Nvidia Reflex, which is also included in the game, paving the way for more responsive controls.

If you are planning on playing Redfall, or titles like Showgunners or the upcoming Diablo 4 ‘server slam' weekend, then you'll want to install the latest GeForce Game Ready driver, which is now available through the GeForce Experience app.
