Ubisoft+ has launched on Xbox today, but not quite in the way we expected. While we anticipated a standalone version of Ubisoft+ for consoles, instead, Ubisoft is launching a new Multi Access plan, a slightly pricier subscription option that includes access to games on PC, cloud and console.
Ubisoft Multi Access will debut at $17.99 per month, versus the $14.99 per month PC-only membership. With the Multi Access subscription, you'll get Ubisoft+ on PC, as well as access to the Ubisoft+ channel on Amazon's Luna cloud gaming service, and you'll get a library of games to play on Xbox consoles as well.
While a smaller list of Ubisoft+ titles for Xbox consoles leaked via Ubisoft's website earlier this week, the full list is much more extensive and does include recent games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Far Cry 6. The full list of Ubisoft+ titles on Xbox can be found below:

Given that it isn't much more expensive than the PC-only version of Ubisoft+, the Multi Access version makes sense on a value standpoint. However, it is also more expensive than Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which offers a more varied library of games accessible across PC, console and cloud.

KitGuru Says: We may see an additional Ubisoft+ plan for console-only access at a cheaper price at some point down the line but for now, if you want Ubisoft+ on an Xbox, you're going to need to buy the biggest plan.
