Asus unveils ProArt RTX 40 graphics cards

Asus already has plenty of different graphics card designs, aimed at both gamers and professionals. Now, Asus is launching its first graphics card line aimed at the creator market, with new ProArt RTX 40 series graphics cards.

While graphics cards are traditionally associated with gaming, that's not true for the new ProArt graphics cards. According to Asus, these new cards were designed to meet the needs of creators working in fields such as AI, finance, game development, manufacturing, and robotics. One of the key features of these graphics cards is their space-saving design. Both cards are only 300mm long, making them two of the smallest 40 Series graphics cards on the market and allowing them to be easily installed in more compact systems.

In addition to their compact design, the ProArt GeForce RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti offer a 2.5-slot design that's less likely to interfere with other components that creators need to install. Moreover, their optimised three-fan profile provides the best balance of temperatures and noise levels. The ProArt GeForce RTX 4080 produces a mere 44dB of noise under load, but thanks to its 0 dB tech, the fans will stop spinning for silent operation in light workloads.

The ProArt GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 Ti feature a minimalist design rooted in clean lines and contoured surfaces without RGB LEDs. They feature dual ball fan bearings for excellent longevity and are assembled with Auto-Extreme Technology, which reduces thermal strain on components and avoids harsh cleaning chemicals. The cards are protected with a stainless steel bracket and are kept level by a protective backplate. Both GPUs come with three free months of Adobe Creative Cloud. The subscription can be applied to a new or existing account.

KitGuru says: Even if it's aimed at creators, these cards should perform well in gaming, like most other RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti cards.
