Crytek is hiring as Crysis 4 development ramps up

In early 2022, Crytek officially announced that it is working on Crysis 4, the first new game in the shooter franchise in over a decade. Later in the year, Crytek brought in Hitman 3 director, Mattis Engström, to lead development. Now, Crytek is looking to hire more key roles for the team.

In a video posted today, Crytek reaffirmed that it is working on Crysis 4 and the company is hiring, looking for producers, AI programmers and environment artists.

The video doesn't show much, but we do appear to get the briefest snippet of the game in development. At the time of writing, Crytek has over 20 open positions on its careers page.

Crysis 4 was announced last year but is still in early development. With that in mind, we don't expect to see the game released for at least a few more years.

KitGuru Says: Crysis is finally making a comeback. For now, we'll have to stick to the recent remasters of the original trilogy, but Crytek is slowly but surely ramping up development on the long-awaited sequel.
