Last night during a development update stream for Diablo 4, Blizzard officially confirmed plans for another beta. Next month, there will be a “server slam” weekend, open to all players across all platforms to stress test the servers ahead of launch.
The beta weekend will be taking place from the 12th to the 14th of May and will be the third public playtest for the game, following two earlier tests in March. Here in the UK, the test will kick off at 8PM on the 12th and end at 8PM on the 14th.
As this is a stress test for the servers, the beta is free for all to download across all supported platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4 and PS5. Full crossplay and cross-progression systems will be online too, as will couch co-op mode for consoles.
This will likely be your last chance to play the game before launch. The game officially releases on the 6th of June, although anyone who pre-orders the deluxe or ultimate editions will get access on the 2nd of June.

KitGuru Says: The first two beta weekends brought in millions of players, so it will be interesting to see how many jump in for the final playtest next month. Will you be downloading the game?
