Cooler Master revamps the Hyper 212 with Halo fans

Cooler Master's Hyper 212 series has been a go-to choice for many PC builders. Since its debut, the series has received new variants, offering small design and technology improvements. The new model, however, shakes things up a bit more than usual. Besides the significant design and technology overhaul, it also comes with Cooler Master's new Halo 120 RGB fan.

The Hyper 212 Halo stands at 154mm tall, making it compatible with most chassis and RAM orientations. Featuring updated installation brackets supporting the latest platforms, it's now easier to mount. The cooler's signature four-heat pipe tower now sports a matching colour treatment and top cover with the Cooler Master logo, adding a stylish touch to the hardware.

The Halo² fan features Gen 2 ARGB lighting, enabling customisable lighting options. The number of fan blades has increased by 10% compared to its predecessor, and the hybrid frame structure ensures stability while optimising fan operational space. Cooler Master has also upgraded the driver IC for improved cooling performance while minimising fan noise.

The Hyper 212 Halo models are available in black and white, both options priced at £39.99. The cooler is compatible with a wide range of platforms, including AM4, AM5, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA1151, LGA1150, LGA1155, and LGA1156 sockets.

Kitguru says: If you're in the market for a mid-range CPU air cooler, the Halo 212 might be worth checking. If it can replicate the success of its predecessors, it should be well worth consideration.
