Recent rumours have suggested that Nvidia will be launching the RTX 4060 Ti in time for Computex at the end of the month. Now, according to a new report, the final date has been pencilled in, and we'll apparently be getting more than one model of the RTX 4060 Ti over the next few months.
The update from VideoCardz shows that Nvidia will announce the RTX 4060 series GPUS in mid-May. The first one to launch would be the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB on May 24th, the same day AMD will reportedly lift the embargo on reviews of the Radeon RX 7600 and a day before the launch of the mid-range GPU.
Besides the 8GB model, there's also reportedly a 16GB model in the works, which is expected to launch in the second half of July. Additionally, the standard RTX 4060 is now scheduled to launch in the first half of July.
Both RTX 4060 Ti GPUs should share similar specs, with the most obvious difference being the VRAM capacity. As such, both are expected to come with 4,352 CUDA cores, a 128-bit memory bus, and GDDR6 memory clocked at 18Gbps. The RTX 4060 should have a similar memory configuration, but the GPU will be cut down to 3,072 CUDA cores instead.
