Hogwarts Legacy for Nintendo Switch delayed to November

Hogwarts Legacy just had a very successful launch on Xbox One and PS4, with the previous-gen console versions both running decently considering the ageing hardware. The game is also due to land on the Nintendo Switch, but unfortunately, fans will have to wait a while longer.

The Nintendo Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed from its original July release date to the 14th of November.

“Hogwarts Legacy launches on Nintendo Switch on 11/14/23. We know fans are looking forward to playing on Switch, therefore creating the best possible experience is our top priority. Thank you for your patience”, the developers said in a statement.

Hogwarts Legacy is currently available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4 and Xbox One. It will be very interesting to see how well this game ends up running on Switch. We've seen some miracle ports in the past, like The Witcher 3, but other big AAA releases on the Switch have faltered in recent years.

KitGuru Says: I know a few people who have been waiting for the Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy so this will be disappointing news. Hopefully the new November release date sticks.
