Lian Li introduces new P28 magnetic Uni fans

Lian Li has added a new product to its portfolio, the P28 Uni Fan. This new 120mm PWM fan comes in both black and white and is designed with performance in mind. The P28 boasts a 28mm thick frame, liquid crystal polymer (LCP) blades, Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB), and three-speed modes, allowing for a balance between noise and performance.

The P28 fans have a nine-blade design mostly made of LCP, a robust material that can withstand higher speeds without deformation. The combined 28mm fan frame, the blades' increased surface area, and the use of FDBs for the fan motor provide a mix of performance and quietness-oriented features that we've come to expect from high-end fans.

Lian Li's Uni Fan series allows users to interconnect their fans to create clusters powered via a single cable. With the P28 fans, up to two groups can be bridged with an extension cable. The P28 also features removable interlocking keys to enhance compatibility with radiator fittings and support for an extension cable to reduce cable clutter. Moreover, the P28 packs come with a controller that can be magnetically mounted anywhere in the case. This controller allows you to change between three profiles: L mode for quieter operation (200-1300 RPM), M mode for a balance of noise and performance (200-2200 RPM), and H mode for maximum performance (200-2600 RPM).

For users who want to add some extra flair to their build, Lian Li offers an optional side RGB strip accessory that can be added to the side of the fan. The strip is powered via a standard 5V ARGB cable and can be daisy-chained like the fans.

The P28 Uni Fan is now available for pre-order as a single unit for $25.99 or as a pack with three fans (with controller) for $74.99. The optional ARGB strip (triple pack) will go for $19.99.

KitGuru says: Would you consider getting a pack of these fans for your system? With or without the optional ARGB strip?
