Corsair impressed us last year with the launch of its first XENEON gaming monitor, a bendable 45-inch ultrawide OLED gaming display. Since then, Corsair has pushed out a few other options, with three 32-inch 4K and QHD gaming monitors at different price points. Now, Corsair is finally offering a 27-inch option.
For most, 27-inch monitors are the sweet spot for size versus desk space, especially with QHD resolution. The new Corsair XENEON 27QHD240 OLED offers exactly that, with a 27-inch OLED panel, 240Hz refresh rate and 1440p resolution. The monitor was originally announced back in March, but it is now officially becoming available today.
Thanks to the OLED technology this monitor packs, colour vibrancy and contrast ratios are taken to the next level, with a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, peak brightness of 1000 nits and 98.5% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. For response time, the pixel on/off response times are down to just 0.01ms, and the overall response time is 0.03ms, making this monitor a perfect choice for competitive gaming at high refresh rates.
The monitor supports both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium, and the stand has height, swivel and tilt adjustments.
Unfortunately, the monitor will command a very high price tag, so you'll need £1,049.99 handy in order to grab one.
