Computex 2023: The best of the week

We spent all of last week in Taipei exploring the halls of Computex and bringing news and close-up showcases of new hardware. In our final Computex video of the year, we go back over all the best bits from the event!

Watch via YouTube below:

During our time at Computex, we saw the next generation of high-speed DDR5 RAM from the likes of G.Skill and T-Force, both of which got the full coverage treatment from us. One of the big highlights of the week was of course the Nvidia keynote, which didn't have much for those after gaming graphics cards, but it did have a lot for those looking to dive into AI. The investment in this area is paying off handsomely for Nvidia, with its market cap hitting $1 trillion USD last week.

MSI had a lot of hardware to show this year for both components and laptops. We saw the new 49-inch OLED super-wide display coming in the months ahead, as well as a new range of laptops, spearheaded by the new Stealth 16 designed in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG.

Thermaltake is making a push into becoming a lifestyle brand with its new Cycle Desk and flagship Bike shop in Taipei. The company isn't leaving PC components behind though, continuing to offer liquid cooling gear, cases, memory, peripherals and more.

The week would not have been complete without a sit-down with Steve Burke of Gamers Nexus. Leo and Steve filmed a video at the Asus booth this year discussing recent on-goings with Asus, including recent warranty and BIOS update issues.

One of the things we didn't get to cover in a dedicated article was the sheer number of modded PC builds on display this year. Every booth had an array of well-built and imaginative PC builds and you can see a lot of them in our best-of video above.

If you want to catch up on our Computex 2023 coverage, you can see all of the articles from the event HERE. Our YouTube channel is also full of videos from the event, so be sure to check those out for a closer look at everything new.
