Free-to-play ‘Trackmania’ is the next Ubisoft game coming to Steam

The past few months has seen Ubisoft commit itself to bringing its previously Epic Games Store exclusive titles to Steam. We have seen the likes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Roller Champions, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game and more added to the storefront slowly but surely. Three years since its first debut, 2020’s free-to-play Trackmania reboot is finally heading to Steam soon.

Nearly 3 years after the game debuted on the Epic Games Store as well as Ubisoft Connect in July 2020, the free-to-play Trackmania reboot (known simply as ‘Trackmania’) is finally being unshackled, and is coming to Steam in just a few short days on the 2nd of February.

For the uninitiated, Trackmania as a series sees players take control of fast and agile cars with the aim of surviving the game’s increasingly creative, weird and unique track layouts. This creativity is nearly limitless as thanks to the game’s focus on user-generated content, Trackmania has more than 280,000 tracks available right now – with more being crafted daily.

Free-to-play games need as wide a reach as possible, and so it is encouraging to see Trackmania being given a real chance to succeed with its second launch. Trackmania can be wishlisted HERE.

KitGuru says: What do you think of the Trackmania series? Will you be hopping in on the 2nd of February? What Ubisoft game do you want to see brought over to Steam next? Let us know down below.
