While we wait for the release of the AMD Radeon RX 7600 and Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, some 3DMark benchmark results have leaked, allowing us to have an early glimpse at the performance of the upcoming GPUs and compare it with older ones.
The benchmark results shared by VideoCardz allow us to assess the performance of the soon-to-be-released RTX 4060 Ti and Radeon RX 7600. These scores were obtained by running various 3DMark benchmarks, including Time Spy, Speed Way, and Fire Strike. These benchmarks test their DX11 and DX12 performance, as well as their raytracing capabilities.
Unquestionably, the RTX 4060 Ti outperforms the Radeon RX 7600 across the board. In TimeSpy, the RTX 4060 Ti demonstrates a 24% to 25% lead over the RX 7600, while in Speed Way, it showcases a staggering 63% performance advantage. The FireStrike test, however, reveals a more modest gap, with the RX 7600 delivering between 92% to 97% of the performance of the RTX 4060 Ti. Compared to their predecessors, the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB stands at an average of 10% faster than the RTX 3060 Ti. On the other hand, the RX 7600 exhibits a significant 34% performance boost compared to the RX 6600.
For the detailed graphics score of the RTX 4060 Ti and the RX 7600 GPUs across all benchmarks, check the following table:
Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti | AMD Radeon RX 7600 | |
---|---|---|
Time Spy (DX12 1440p) | 13,395 | 10,687 |
Time Spy Extreme (DX12 4K) | 6,287 | 5,079 |
Speed Way (DX12 1440p) | 3,176 | 1,949 |
Fire Strike (DX11 1080p) | 33,596 | 30,925 |
Fire Strike Extreme (DX11 1440p) | 15,873 | 14,571 |
Fire Strike Ultra (DX11 4K) | 7,357 | 7,126 |
It's worth noting that the benchmarks for both the RTX 4060 Ti and RX 7600 were collected from multiple reviewers. The data was then averaged for a more accurate representation of the GPUs' performance. Moreover, the cards were tested using pre-launch press drivers, leaving room for improvement. The RTX 4060 Ti is set to release on May 24th. As for the Radeon RX 7600, it's expected to be announced on May 25th.
