AMD’s latest graphics driver brings optimisations for F1 23

Earlier this week, Nvidia began rolling out its latest GeForce Game Ready driver for F1 23. Today, AMD is getting Radeon GPU users prepped for the launch too, with a new driver delivering Day-0 optimisations.

The latest version of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition is now available for Radeon graphics card users. The main highlight of this update is support for F1 23. F1 23 is the official videogame of the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship, published by none other than EA Sports and developed by the racing specialists at Codemasters. The latest game will introduce two new circuits, a new content hub and a full story mode.

There are two known issues with this driver that will be fixed at a later date. These issues won't necessarily impact everyone, but they are good to be aware of. Currently, an intermittent application crash can occur while using Blender and certain VR games or apps may run into stuttering or lower-than-expected performance.
