ASRock reveals new gaming monitors, Z790 and B650 motherboards, and more ahead of Computex 2023

Computex 2023 is just around the corner. Ahead of the event, some companies have already begun revealing their new products, including ASRock, which plans to show off new motherboards, monitors and Mini PCs at the event.

One of the highlights at Computex 2023 will be ASRock's impressive lineup of monitors. The showcase will feature six existing products and new gaming and business models. Among the notable displays are the PG558KF and PG32UMF.

The PG558KF is a 55-inch display boasting an 8K resolution. On the other hand, the PG32UMF is a Mini-LED gaming monitor offering a 144Hz refresh rate, 1152-zone local dimming, and remarkable HDR 1400 with 97% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut support. Both high-end models feature HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces, a USB Type-C PD3.0 90W fast charging (upstream) port, and four USB Type-A (downstream) ports, providing gamers with a wide range of connectivity options.

Additionally, ASRock will unveil the PG27QF2A IPS gaming monitor designed with mainstream specifications. It offers QHD resolution with a high refresh rate of 165Hz. The monitor features a brand-new Phantom Gaming design and includes an exclusive built-in WiFi antenna, ensuring stable WiFi reception on PCs and resolving latency and lag issues for online gaming.

Furthermore, ASRock has plans to launch the A27FE and A24FE models in the second half of the year. These entry-level monitors are equipped with FHD IPS panels, a 100Hz refresh rate, and support for AMD FreeSync technology, effectively eliminating screen tearing and stuttering. These models can be used across various applications, including business, education, home, and gaming.

ASRock is also unveiling new motherboards, including the high-end Z790 Nova WiFi 7. This board is equipped with the latest WiFi 7 and 5 Gbps LAN, offering users high-speed internet whether they connect a cable or go wireless. Designed to support power-hungry CPUs, the board features a 20+1+1 SPS Dr MOS, 20K long-lasting capacitors, and a 2oz inner layer PCB. ASRock is also showcasing the Z790 Riptide WiFi and Z790 Lightning WiFi models for the mainstream market segment. These motherboards feature superior VRM and PCB designs and toolless M.2 heatsinks.

Introducing the Taichi Lite series, ASRock acknowledges the increasing luxury of motherboards, particularly in the high-end segment. With boutique-looking designs and fancy RGB effects, motherboard prices have skyrocketed. However, ASRock aims to change this trend. Based on the existing Z790/B650E Taichi models, the Z790/B650E Taichi Lite retains 100% of the original specifications, including a 24-phase VRM for vCore, USB4 Type-C, and Gen 5 M.2 support. The Taichi Lite series focuses purely on functionality, performance, and durability, bringing high-end motherboards to a lower price point.

Finally, ASRock is also announcing its new DeskMeet series of Mini PCs, powered by Ryzen 7000 series processors, with support for DDR5 memory and PCIe 5.0 SSDs. There will also be a DeskSlim model, which shrinks down the volume of the chassis to just 6.5L.
