Computex 2023: 8Pack returns with new flagship PC build

At Computex today, Leo had the chance to catch up with 8Pack, the legendary UK PC overclocking guru and system builder. Today we are getting a closer look at the new 8Pack Domin8 system, offering extreme performance through the new flagship Sapphire Rapids Intel Xeon processor, backed up by not one but two liquid-cooled RTX 4090 graphics cards.

Watch via YouTube below:

The 8Pack Domin8 is built with the best flagship hardware, using an Intel Sapphire Rapids CPU overclocked to offer an extra 45% performance over stock. With two NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs installed and overclocked too, you can expect extreme levels of performance from this PC. With 8Pack being the professional that he is, these overclocks are thoroughly tested for stability before systems are sent out to customers. If you wanted to add some extra graphics cards, the system can support up to four of them.

The motherboard is an ASUS W790 WS Sage with Crucial 256GB 4800MHz DDR5 octo-channel RAM. Utilising all eight channels, its perfect for digital rendering. Memory capacity can also be increased up to 4TB. For storage, the 8Pack Domin8 offers five drives with a total of 48TB of storage capacity. The drives include 2x Corsair Gen5 2TB NVME drives, 1x WD 850X Gen4 4TB drive, and 2x WD Red HDD 20TB drives. Powering everything is two Superflower 8Pack Edition 2000W power supplies, both rated with 80Plus Platinum efficiency.

All of this high-end hardware needs serious cooling. With that in mind, the system features dual liquid-cooling loops, with one dedicated to the CPU and another for the graphics cards. For the radiators, you'll find two custom Nexalus 8Pack radiators, measuring in at 480mm with a 240mm width, making for a large surface area to swiftly deal with heat.

Each loop has a dedicated Nexalus 8Pack Pump which has been optimised to provide 25% improved flow while only taking up two-thirds of the space. A custom-built mono-block has been installed to cool the motherboard's VRMs and CPU, while a bespoke distro-plate encompasses the hexagonal design of the outer chassis.

Throughout the system, you'll also find Phanteks D30 fans, offering high static pressure and plenty of airflow. All of this is housed in a modded version of the Corsair 1000D Super Tower case.

It is a fantastic-looking system, but it is not for the average consumer. As you should expect from the spec alone, this is a very pricey system, coming in at just under £33,000.

KitGuru Says: 8Pack always impresses with his builds and we always enjoy getting to chat with him about his latest systems. There's no doubt about it, this is a highly impressive PC and plenty of custom touches have been added.
