iPad to get iOS 4 in November

According to a report relating to advertisers plans with the new iAd program – iPad users will be getting iOS 4 in November. This means while iPhone users get to play with the multitasking operating system iPad users still have many months to wait.

iAds is going live on iOS applications on the 1st of July however apparently due to time contraints many advertisers will be not be ready for the official launch. Apple have said that they are doing all the technical production of iAds however this means that many advertising agencies will have to wait up to 2 months before a final creative is ready to go.

iOS 4 is a big product for Apple as it brings support for multitasking (in a limited fashion) to the table, a long overdue feature which the public have been wanting for a long time.

KitGuru says: We are waiting to see the final implementation of iAds, its an interesting concept which hopefully won't become too intrusive for the end user.
