iPad doesn’t dent Mac sales, 3.8 million target for September quarter

Sales Data shows that Apple are on track to sell up to 3.8 million Macintosh computers in the September Quarter, up 23 percent from the same period a year ago.

The good old days - would you buy a computer from this man? billions have.

The NPD group data released yesterday charts Apple tracking ahead of Wall Street's expectations of 3.7 million for September quarter. U.S. sales data shows Mac growth of between 21 percent and 24 percent from the same three month period this time last year.

KitGuru says: It appears that the iPhone and iPad sales haven't dented Macintosh sales that badly, contrary to many publications reporting that the iPad would kill Macintosh sales.
