Researchers have found that almost nine in 10 Apple customers are ‘pleased' with their computer purchase. Steve Jobs must be equally as happy hearing this. Windows 7 was also on the ‘happy list' with customers much more satisfied with the platform than the ill received Windows Vista.
The American Customer Satisfaction index, released yesterday found that people in general were four per cent happier with their computer purchase than this time last year. Apple took the lead with a staggering 86 percent of buyers reporting that they were happy with their purchase.
Apple have been leaders of this survey for 7 years in a row now but this year proved to be a record percentage for the shiny fruit maker. In the last quarter Apple sold 3.5 million Macintosh computers which is up 33 percent from the year before.
Not all is well for manufacturers with Hewlett Packard, Dell and Acer all reporting one percent below the average figure.
