AMD to release multi GPU solutions for Fusion Llano

AMD are going to be targeting Llano APUs that are aimed at the mainstream business, desktop and AIO PC sectors.

The Llano APU is part of AMD's Lynx platform and will feature a dual core CPU mated with a Direct X 11 GPU. The new multi GPU technology will pair up the existing GPU with a discrete card which will provide additional performance and higher levels of display connectivity.

Website Donanimhaber got themselves some AMD slides that show a marked performance improvement of a Llano APU, with and without the additional discrete card and if the results are accurate, it will be a force to be reckoned with. AMD are sure to incorporate a solution similar to nVidia Optimus and the discrete GPU will be able to be toggled on and off depending on the situation and demand.
