Nokia C7 – starts shipping to customers: Symbian^3

The hotly awaited Nokia C7 has finally started shipping to customers. This is hot on the heels of the N8 shipment 2 weeks ago. While people had to wait a long time on the N8 however, the C7 shipped very quickly after the first announcement a month ago.

The Nokia C7 looks to be a fantastic product, if the specs are anything to go by. 640×360 screen resolution on a 3.5 inch screen, with 8GB of memory and a 8MP camera onboard. The phone is 10.5mm thin and ships with 3G 850/900/1700/1900/2100mhz support as well as 2G 850/900/1800/1900mhz support. To round out the list there is 802.11n wifi GPS and the battery can be replaced. Many users like to purchase additional phones online for long trips so this will be ideal.

The C7 body is built from stainless steel which should prove immensely durable and it ships with Symbian^3 which has proved to be a little disappointing according to critic reports, especially after using the latest version of Android.

KitGuru says: Nokia are also planning to release the N9, due to be announced at the MeeGo conference in around a months time.
