Amazon under fire for pedophilia literature

A book called “The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child-Lover's Code of Conduct” has caused customer outrage with threats to ban the online retailer unless it pulled the title.

The book was no longer available when we last looked, and over 2,000 users commented on the title. Many threatened to blacklist Amazon completely and many Facebook pages are now online with calls to ban the publisher completely.

CNN have published news on this and the author told them “True pedophiles love children and would never hurt them. “Penetration is out. You can't do that with a child, but kissing and fondling I don't think is that big of a problem.”

The Pueblo, Colorado, man told CNN that he has not had sexual contact with a child as an adult, but did when he was a teenager. He also said he “was introduced to oral sex when I was 7” by an older female but did not provide specifics.

Members of the public were disgusted with one saying “It is ILLEGAL to molest children, and for Amazon to promote such is insane. I'm an abuse survivor, and am OUTRAGED Amazon would choose to promote this nonsense. I will not be purchasing anything from your website until this is removed.”

KitGuru says: We are stunned that Amazon let this book go on sale and we can understand the moral outrage across the continents.

  1. Wow I can’t believe this was on sale. I am all for the freedom of speech, but surely this is just breaking the law.

  2. never mind the law, it breaks all the moral codes, then some 🙁 Sadly enough it will sell a lot of copies now as it is such a high profile book.

  3. I was able to get my hand on a copy of this book, and didn’t find it too bad. The part about no penetration is an opinion especially if your careful. The thing is I got it just before going to Mexico. so it helped me with sexual encounters I had while I was down there. The trick is to not hurt anyone and that is really what the book is about.
